Aging and Senior Services
Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) are grassroots organizations built to respond to the needs of their local communities. Each AAA manages programs and services designed to meet the needs of its particular area. Each agency’s mission is to deliver easily accessible, top-quality services that sustain healthy lifestyles and support self-sufficiency in the aging population.

Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) | Department for Aging and Disability Services
PACE is designed for seniors with chronic care needs and their families to allow qualified individuals the opportunity to live in their community for as long as possible. PACE uses Medicare and Medicaid funds to cover all medically necessary care and services. Consumers can be enrolled in either Medicare or Medicaid, or both, to join PACE. They can also pay for PACE privately, if they do not have either.
Currently PACE is not available in all Kansas counties. For more information call the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) at (785) 296-8288.
